Here's a song by the wonderful Cheryl Wheeler (whose song "Unworthy" can be found near the bottom of my playlist).
As a couple of you already know, besides having a maths learning disablity, and mild dyspraxia, I'm also been very blessed to be bi-polar 48 year old virgin. How many of THOSE do you think there are out there in the world? Of course, if I truly wanted to be unique, I could say that I'm a 48 year old bi-polar lesbian virgin. Oooh, someone call the BBC, I see a documentary in the offing.
Hey, it's not everybody that can be bi-polar, ya'know. Only the special one's. That's why we get litium and depakote and prozac, and you don't.

I LOVE this song--it's sad, true, but God, it's funny! It reminds me of how I found out--pretty much like Cheryl in her song...only it was my doctor who interrupted the conversation to book an appointment with a shrink (I say "shrink," cos' I've been educated by the American public (state) educational system, and I can't spell phycaiatrist).
