I Ain't Afraid of No Daleks

New Music! I'm always open to new stuff--provided of course, I like it. I don't generally like loud discordant music. I like stuff with a melody or a good beat, or a good message.

Well, a blog acquaintance read my post of the other day, where I listed a mix of tunes I was listening to on Pandora Radio online. Wrote that he'd thought I might like this band.

He sent me a link and some downloads for this band he likes, over there (somewhere) in the UK, called, "The minute steaks." I tried to find a clip of them on YouTube, but they must still be kind of obscure yet.

I sort of like them. Of course, haven't heard enough to aye, yes or no....but still, nice sound. Maybe someday I'll get to hear more of them.

Friends say actor David Tennant got so nervous during rehearsals for Hamlet, that he's developed some rather strange quirks due to his insecurity complex. Here we see an exclusive photo of David walking around the rehearsal hall, sucking on a snooker ball, while carrying around his favourite bean-bag chair, and a haggis. Doctors say the actor isn't ready to be sectioned yet, but that they do have the men in the padded van on standby outside the theatre, just as a precaution.

I tried writing something, but my heart wasn't in it. It's 98 F (36.6 C) in my bedroom, at half-past ten in the evening. It's going to be even HOTTER tomorrow and Tuesday--up to 95 F! With only the one fan, I hope I and the cats will be able to cope.

I don't even feel like pickin' on David Tennant.
