  • 10 reasons why I wouldn't date David Tennant

Oh, I seem to be attracting the fan girls to my blog these days, ey?

Guess I'm the only female DT fan, who really isn't physically attracted to the guy. Okay, well, I'm a sucker for a nice smile, but...he just looks like an average bloke to me...don't see the man as a sex symbol in any way, shape or form--sorry, David dear.

    1. I know nothing about the guy.

    2. I know nothing about the guy (other than he's a great actor and he's Scottish).

    3. Too scruffy.

    4. The rubbish beard.

    4. I can't do the Glaswegan scowl

    5. I've never heard a Kylie song, and could care less about the Pussycat Dolls.

    6. I don't care if it really is ten inches, I have no desire to see it.

    7. I don't want to snog him, either.

    8. He looks better as a woman.

    9. The mussy hair--what's with that? Can't the man afford mousse?

    10. Too childish--belching and farting in public is something that only amused me when I was 10...I'd want to hang out with an adult.

I'm kidding, of course, so PLEASE don't yell at me!

So, a bit achy today, but it was a nice day, and I managed to get some stuff done, post office, laundry, that sort of thing...but very tired, now. God, I'm turning into my late mum, these days. What happened??? Two years ago, I was fit and highly active, now, I'm a blinking walking vegeatble. I need some money or mates or a hobby or SOMETHING! This standing still all the time, is starting to literally make me old....my hair, in the last two months, virtually overnight, has turned salt & pepper gray. Eyesight's going, as well as other stuff, that I won't mention here.

    Anyway...

So, break's over, hope you all have a good night/day tommrrow.

"I don't care how proud you are to be Scottish, David, I'm NOT doing the Glaswegan scowl!"

  • Short stuff

    Hi all,

Gotta' go home and have dinner, then head off to bed, so keeping this short. Long day tomorrow. 1st, have to hop a bus first thing in the morning, and go north a couple of miles, to get some stuff I forgot to get when I went shopping the other day. Then, I have to turn back around, go home, ring up a cab, and head south across the Cooper Cave Bridge, hauling several mounds of dirty washing to the Mid-town shopping centre, all before noon-time...with a trip to the post-office in-between...then, haul it home up two flights of stairs, and get ready for night shift. Whew! Not easy when one isn't feeling 100%, but I can get 'er done, I reckon.

Nice day today, tho. Love being able to FINALLY shed the turtlenecks and jumpers and long underwear, knit hat, and heavy coats and gloves..and those klumpy winter boots. I'm wearing trainers again...Yeah!!!! :DD It was nearly 55 degrees F, today...cool!

The cats are happy--tho' Flame is in heat and meowing every five minutes, and following me around from from to room. :-/

National Grid shut-off is still up in the air (got another threatening letter today), whether I get my small Social Security check, (the one they wanted me to repay, then wouldn't let me repay) is still up in the air, and when I get my larger disability cheque from the goverment, is still up in the air.

I don't know if it's an omen, but outside my windows today, just down the way, circling over some apartment houses, and the Presbyterian Church on Glen Street, were two very large buzzards. I kid you not.

That's it, I guess. Not much to say, I'm afraid. I am a dull old maid, aren't I?
