Well, this could be adios for a time...just got laid off again...sort of.

You see, after over a year of service with the company, I've been demoted to "floater" status...meaning, that I'm not considered a regular employee, any longer...not properly a day shift person, not properly a night shift person...I'm put where I'm needed...and, the minute there's a work slow-down, I and other like me, get the boot. I'm now, except for weekends, on "on-call" status...until the workload picks up, I only have work if someone calls in sick.

Basically, I may not have a paycheck, in two week's time. ...and, additionally, since I use the work computer, no access to the internet. :(

Well, in a few hours time, Who Series 4 starts in the UK. Wish I was there... >:-(

Ugh! I'm sitting across the most irritating, insufferable and totally obnoxious loud-mouth guy on the planet!

I mean, this is someone who thinks he's God's gift, and is quite loud about strutting it about...yech. He insults people and thinks it's funny. Told the guy in the wheelchair (who weighs roughly 20 stone) that he should work at home, that way He (obnoxious guy) wouldn't have to see his (wheelchair guy's) ugly face any longer. Oh, ha-ha.

He's been drumming loudly on his desk, and laughed at me and started making fun of my name, when I asked him to please stop. What a lowlife--but he gets results, so he gets away with it.

I got yelled at here, a while back, for being sarcastic when I absolutely wasn't at all--wasn't mad or upset at the woman...was flustered with myself, for stupidly forgetting something I shouldn't have...yet this jerk insults and complians and is downright rude, right-left & centre, and no one cares. I am starting to think perhaps my employer wants to dump me.

Ah well. Who cares? I used to care. Used to think caring was important--now, I realize, caring is no longer in fashion, in this world. Unless it's popular or trendy, that is. Tho' of course, there's still some exceptions.

It's a nice day, today. Rain and snow stopped. Chilly but not raw.

Anyway, still snow around, and there's more green on the trunks of the trees (moss), than there is anywhere else...tho' I did hear my first robin, yesterday. Yesterday was a melancholoy day...driving icy drizzle, bare reddish-brown and gray tree limbs, studded with diamond-drops of rain..pale yellow grass, patches and piles of gray and white snow, mud and puddles everywhere else.

Wonder if it will ever be warm again?
