Well, back on night shift. Ah well. Day shift, night shift, weekends...not like I have a life, is it? 
Watched Jose Ferrar doing Cyrano (1950) on DVD, last night---brilliant film! I can see David Tennant doing that role. Ferrar pitched it perfectly, spouting poetry, while dueling with his sword up and down a crowded room---marvelous!
And, being an ugly old maid, certainly, I can relate to his character, in a way.
So, 6 inches of snow last friday, and more snow predicted for this weekend. We had a funky power outtage in Glens falls, Tuesday night. one or two buildings might go out, but their neighbours would be on, as would all the streetlights. We were out, in my run-down apartment building, and the home behind us, but other houses on Glen street--including the building next door, never lost power. But my office building did, I"m told, and others on Birch and parts of Notre Dame streets, were out as well. Freaky.
Just before work, Flame decided to play fetch (the mouse) with me. Gosh, she loves that toy. I throw it, she brings it back, I throw it...soggy furry mouse...and she brings it back, happily chirrping away. She's a happy little camper, these days. My two boy cats just sleep, mostly--though they have their moments with the toy mice, as well, sometimes.
Didn't get my cheque from disability, but got a stay order on my heat/electric shut off, and, I got an increase in my food stamps, from 18 dollars to 143 dollars per month--bit relief, as I was spending nearly half my meager pay check on food, these last several months.
Well, back to work. Have a good weekend, all. Cheers, friends and fellow Whovians.
