David Tennant: Hosiery Model?

I mean, the chap really DOES have nice legs...don't you think he'd do well, as a pantyhose model?

NOTE: 27TH August, 2008. I wrote this post, well over a year ago, and it's turned out to be my #1 post of all time. Who knew? I, for some strange reason, get a lot of hits for "David Tennant"...(could it be 'cos I pick on him a lot? ) I'm not sure if it's one of the photos, or the lead (post title) or the subject matter, but...I do find all this traffic to this post very strange, but just want to say, "thanks for visiting my blog."   This'll sound truly blasphemous--especially in light that I just came from church--but, when he's sporting his beard, I mean put him in a loin cloth and nail him to a cross, ya'know what I mean? If he's "fit" I must be a candidate for Miss Universe afterall.

  BTW, you are NOT going to believe the amount of views I got for this totally daft post! It's unbelieveable! I was only joking around! Really...wow. There's a lot of really strange people out there...makes me almost feel "normal."
  
  Maybe I should put the Doctor in pantyhose in my next short story, ey?
  
  But what I'm really curious about--or maybe I shouldn't be?---is...who the heck even thinks to Google the name "David Tennant" with "pantyhose?" Okay, now that's just a little scary, methinks. I'm sure the man must, if he's as intelligent as he seems, wonder just what he's let himself in for, sometimes. Poor guy...well, poor rich successful guy.

i luv him soooo muuch!!!! he is so sexy!!! especially in a kilt!!!! Sooooo fit !!!! not 2 sound creepy but have life size card board cut out in my room! seriosly worship him! If i missed an episode of doctor who i would actually kill myself or become very depressed till i see it! never hav missed 1 though..so that's alright! i am so lookin 4ward 2 2nite when doc who is on with jennie ohhhhh!!!! and i can't wait till billie comes back coz she's my fave and i h8 freema she is alright in torchwood but not on doc who!!!! and the papers lied about all his companions coming back 4 the fanalie! and the saying but not kylie!!! Kylie was not a companion!! he offered and then she died!!! she was a star guest!!!! And also where's john and sarah-jane and k9!!!!! They were companions! Mabeythe they wouldn't hav 2 have sarah-jane but definitely john! 2 c billie duh!!!! or do they think it is a bit repetetive!!! But Capatian Jack must come back!!!! So fit too!!!! But freema just icky never go near him again freema neither of them!!!!! Donna is immense though i really like her! She is just cool unlike a certain martha!
I was surprised how good at acting catherine tate is at acting! But i just hope that she doesn't ever say: Am i bothered? Because the i would disown her! But i love billie's songs 2! Especially girlfriend It's my ring tone!!!!! She's cool!!! But OMG David is so fit but i h8 sofia myles! thankfully his EX EX EX EX EX! she was too clingy!!!! Well i don't know that but i asume that because she seems like the clingy type if he was the one 2 break it off with her!!! Over the phone 2!! how much more can it scream it was her fault!!! And i hope that the sun was lying when thay said he ad a new girlfriend called jennie fava or sumthin like that! She is a lesbian and only wants 2 go out with him so she can say she's going out with doctore who! i h8 it whhen people call him doctor who! Because that isn't the point! His name is the doctor, when he says that's his name that people say "Doctor Who?" and then he says just the doctor because that is his name and really it's just a title! so people assume he's a doctor but somthing like doctor smith or doctor johnson or somthing along those lines!!!!! Ahhhh!!!!! Never ming that i'm sure he world will carry on saying it 4evr and it's only litited how many people will actually read this so never mind!!!!

  While I don't really care about Tennant's looks (nothing personal), I think he's nearly as good an actor as Derek Jacobi or even Jimmy Stewart. I really, really enjoy watching him perform. Acting's hard, but he makes it look sooo-easy! Wow.

  1) you're obviously not a real doctor who fan if you don't think martha brought anything to the show and don't want her to be in it
  
  2) catherine tate would not say am i bovvad because her character is donna noble, not lauren
  
  3) you obviously don't respect david tennant either if you have the nerve to call his ex 'clingy' and to call his new girlfriend a lesbian. get a grip, we all want a bit of mr tennant but you don't see anyone else going around slagging his partners or ex-partners

    Thanks for your comments. I agree that some of these younger generation of Who fans are a bit more snarky than they were, two decades ago. I don't like it, either.
    
    It's okay not to like someone or something, but it's not okay to be mean or insulting about it. Especially with someone who seems as compassionate and intelligent as Mr. Tennant seems to be. I'm sure he would be very displeased with this fan-girl's remarks, and I should think that if she TRULY liked Mr. Tennant, she would be a bit more tactful in her remarks about women that he cares/cared about.
    
    I don't know where the Doctor Johnson came from, but, as a long-time serious Who fan (I used to serve on the trivia panel at our local Who fan club, back in the late 1980's), One of the Doctor's real names was in fact, revealed. I think in one of the early Tom Baker episodes, but my brain isn't as sharp as it used to be, and the exact episode escapes me.
    
    The Doctor's name, (as a youth I think), was once disclosed on the programme, as "Theta Sigma." I think this was a Galifreyan nick-name though, and not his actual surname.

      Haha. I am one of these "younger generation" of fans, bu I am not ott with the arrtractiveness of Tennant [although he is rather hot and i love his accent, bit like an Edinburgh accent] but I have actually watched quite a few "old" DWs, mainly because my dad is quite a Doctor Who fan [bit on the geeky side].
      
      Not that many though.. some of the few of the 1st doctor which are on DVD, nd some Tom Baker ones and .. the one with the grey hair with the amazing yellow car [can't recall his name..]. Two with Sarah Jane Smith. It's amusing seeing the bad guys and the mosters in the older ones, bubble wrap and things!
      
      I am pretty worried of the mental stability of Sarah though, quite scary reading her comment. With a lot of explanation marks. . . .
      
      To anyone who may happen to read this:
      Have you seen Tennant in Casinova? Not the most serious thing ever though, i haven't seen it since it was on the TV though.. And he was in that BBC Drama thingy "Recovery", but I missed it when it was on. I don't really know what else he has been in, but he's in the theater for like a year.
      
      Oh, and yeah, and "Theta Sgma" is the Doctor's nickname, as far i know.

        Hi, Yes, "Theta" did get a mention in the Tom Baker era as his Galifreyan nickname.
        
        I've had other DT droolers--erm, I mean fans, send me links to other stuff he's done, things fans have posted on Youtube, and a friend sent me that semi-comedy he did last year, "Learners," which he had a bit part in (he was quite good).
        
        Tennant is very, very good (if sometimes a bit carried away) on the small screen, but I imagine that he really shines on stage.

  However, as I've mentioned several times recently, David Tennant will NEVER read my blog. The man doesn't know or care that I exist--and that's fine. I doubt the poor guy even has the time to read blogs, he seems very busy, from what little I know of him.

      Hi, thanks for visiting my blog.
      
      I wrote this well over a year ago, so I wouldn't remember, I'm afraid. However, there is a photos section, I believe in Davidtennnant.com that's quite extensive. At least there used to be. Haven't been on there in quite a while.
      
      To the best of my knowledge, the top photo was (I think) from a skit he did on his first (I think) appearence on a programme called Friday Night Project (I think--I've never been to Britain, and I haven't had television in years, so I am not exactly an expert on what on tele in the UK). I believe that pic at the top may be from Mr. Tennant's appearence on Friday night, at any rate, probably the first time, because it is an older picture.
      
      Best I can do, I'm afraid. Even though I'm a fan of the actor, think he's very talented, I really don't know a whole heck of a lot about him, to tell you the truth. Sorry. Take care, N. xx

The reason it's still being read may be that it comes up in the first page of google image searches for David Tennant

I have only seen 1 1/2 episodes of Dr. Who, and the instant I saw him, I fell, and hard. Now frankly, I love his body, and I'm very jealouse of any girl that got within the same room as he, and I know that I will be VERY devoted to him for a long time.... I love you, David

I think Doctor Who is one the best shows on t.v. David Tennant is so good lookin and sexy. I love him to bits. He is such a good actor aswell. I love him a in Cavanova, he is so funny and cute. lol! He is really good in Bright Young Things aswell. I love Doctor Who. I've missed an ep. The last ep ov series 4 was brill. I like its the best eva.

  I used to be obsessed with Dr Who, until a couple of weeks ago. I do think Tennant is brilliant--not as good as Derek Jacobi, and a bit of a ham sometimes, but very enthusiastic about his craft, which is nice, I think.
  
  I've only seen bits and pieces of him in other things--what my friends have passed along to me.
  
  Personally speaking he looks like just an average guy to me, but then his looks aren't important, it's his acting that matters, and mostly he's spot-on in that respect.

  I'm sure that Mr. Tennant must be quite chuffed knowing that he has fans such as yourself.
  
  Tho' you do understand that the actor doesn't ever read my blog, do you not? First, of all, why would he? And secondly, I'm sure he's far too busy trying to gel with his character (Hamlet), and memorizing his lines and changes and and marks and ques, and all that other complex theatrey stuff that actors must do---not to mention the countless hours he must spend each day, fussing with his pseudo-sexy electrically charged Scottish bhoy hair-do.
  
  Alas, I am quite positive that I will never know the joy of seeing Tennant tread the boards, let alone meet the gentleman..which is fine. I'm sure he has much better things to do than meet some ugly grumpy old American broad.
  
  So, I'm not sure why you left him a message here, but if you go to a website, I THINK, "davidtennant.com?" They probably have the postal address of his agent there, where you can write him.

Haha he looks super sweet in a kilt I didn't like Martha as an assistant either. I think it was because he had just lost Rose and then Martha comes along and tries to get into his pants. Not a good move. Donna and Rose are my two favourites as assistants as well as Sarah-Jane in the Tom Baker years.

just wanna say david is really cute but i think a lot of people forget how talented he is at acting because of this
sometimes if people spend less time lookin to see if he has a bulge they might notice how great he is acting!

he brings his characters to life and is realy animated and enthusiastic. you gotta love the energy he gives out its great!

  I DC, thanks for visiting my blog. Even tho' I have no attraction to Tennant in the physcial sense (he's not my type, sorry), I love watching him as the Doctor and in the few other roles as well. He is a true delight in performace, and someday I believe (when he matures a bit more) that he will be in the same league as Derek Jacobi and David Warner.

im one of the younger fans and i also think that he is very fit but im not overly obsessed with that, like most people are saying hes also great at acting

im jelous of him tbh. imagine googling your self and finding thousands of pictures and websites of your self

P.S. any fan girls that just want to see him naked there is a picture some where but it was when he was ALOT younger (hes in a police outfit)
